This handmade sterling silver pendant features an etched drawing of Wolfsbane.
Wolfsbane in myth and legend is associated with protection against werewolves. Ancient hunters dipped their arrows in aconite when hunting wolves, giving Wolfbane its modern name. An ingredient in the ‘witch’s flying ointment’ it has long been associated with witchcraft.
Each piece is unique, handmade by melting recycled sterling silver and formed into a pendant. A botanical drawing of wolfsbane is etched on the front of the pendant and on the rear, text describing the magic and folklore of the plant.
The pendant measure 15mm x 20mm and sits on a 45cm sterling silver chain.
